yarn tart

UPDATE: Yarn Tart has moved to an unknown address; the link referenced in this blog (yarntart.blogspot.com) no longer connects to the reviewed blog. (01/01/07)

yarn tart

Mmj's blog is an interesting mix of politics, current events, knitting, and movie reviews; it presents a unique twist on blogging. Yarn tart is a pleasant read and a good addition to my list.

Again, I've found a non-American viewpoint; its not that I dislike my country - I really do love it - but personally I feel the need to listen to the international critique. How can we claim to be an example if we don't look beyond our own spheres? I'd rather listen to criticism and have the choice to integrate it into my life/my country than play deaf and miss the opportunity to grow.

Enjoy the international views I tend to discover throughout my travels through Blogger, dear American readers. And to the international writers I admire: thank you. I really hope I can become a force in shaping the US's future and even if no one else likes reading what the world thinks about the USA, I thoroughly appreciate every word.

My rant is done; go read yarn tart.

Another brief apology

College gets hectic. What I thought would take me a week to settle has taken two and I feel like I've quite deserted my wonderful audience. I plan to get back to work this weekend so keep an eye out for new stuff! I can't wait to read what everyone's been saying; I've missed my daily reads.
