American in Japan

Update: Lynne now posts on American Gaijin after moving back to the United States. American in Japan is still up, but no new content is added. (01/01/07)

American in Japan

The title alone was enough to hook me, but Lynne's also got a great perspective going. I really enjoy her stuff and reading about the culture. I agree with all the comments praising her story telling abilities. It's awesome. Her recent post "I'm so broke 'How broke are you?'" includes two Haiku's that made me sigh. I think she's awesome.

    Thanks for the compliments AJ!

I've been writing a lot lately but I normally try to keep the number of posts down. Although I could write everyday I try to wait for something that really motivates me otherwise I would have posts entitled, "My rice was a little dry today" or "My tea had a floater in it" and then lawsuits would follow because people would be drooling into their keypads from boredom then everything starts sparking, eyebrows burn off my poor readers' faces....oh it would get ugly.

Anyway thanks again and I will make a link to your blog on my site.
